Completion of the first stage of the project

We are happy to announce that the Sagenso team has successfully completed Stage 1 of Project POIR.01.01.01-00-0228/22.

Within the stage:

  1. An environment was built that reproduces standard user systems on isolated virtual machines with various versions of operating systems.
  2. An agent was created to monitor the state and behavior of the system during operation and during a ransomware attack.
  3. A system was built to repeatedly simulate ransomware attacks in laboratory conditions.
  4. A model was developed to predict ransomware attacks.

As planned, we have started work on Stage 2, during which we intend to build algorithms that will allow us to combine information from many computers within the organization in order to more effectively detect attacks that pose a threat to the entire organization.

Within the stage:

  • A system was created to simulate repeated simulations of ransomware attacks on entire organizations.
  • A prototype central system collecting data from various agents in a given organization was developed.
  • Various ransomware attacks on entire organizations were simulated.
  • The best predictive model was selected and optimized to detect the attack across the entire organization.

As planned, we are currently implementing Stage 3 of the project - pre-implementation work, thanks to which it will be possible to implement the project effects in January 2024.
